Rescue crews are headed to the backcountry east of Lumby Saturday afternoon after a snowbiker was reportedly injured.
The BC Air Ambulance was dispatched just after 1 p.m. Saturday. Along with the Vernon Search and Rescue winch team, the crews are headed to the backcountry area to attend to the snowbiker.
The extent of the person's injuries are unclear at this time.
Castanet will provide more information about the rescue as it becomes available.
