Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit and run in Salmon Arm.
Thursday, December 7, between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., an older model teal green or light blue pickup truck struck a 16-year-old female at the crosswalk between Tim Horton's and the 7 Eleven on 4 St NE.
The girl was with a friend, and the two of them were on their way to school.
The driver of the pickup was described as in his early 40's with brown balding hair, a mustache, and tanned skin.
The 16-year-old received minor injuries and was released from hospital after treatment.
The driver of the truck or anyone who knows them is requested to contact Constable Tippe of the Salmon Arm RCMP.
