A Vernon woman faces numerous charges after more than $100,000 was discovered missing from a company's books.
RCMP say an employee of the Monahan Agency Book Distribution Company contacted them after noticing discrepancies in the company's bookkeeping.
A forensic audit was conducted for the years 2001 through 2006.
The audit revealed about $115,000 had gone missing over that five year period.
Virginia L. Wilson, 43, has been charged with fraud, falsification of books and documents and theft by a person required to account.
Wilson was employed with the company in accounts receivable.
She had left the company prior to the theft being discovered.
