For one Vernon man, it might just be the best secret Santa gift ever. 

Todd Hiebert is the happy winner of the JC Bradley/Castanet Secret Santa Sweepstakes prize.

The prize package included gift certificates to Vernon restaurants and a diamond necklace, valued at more than $1,000 from JC Bradley.

"This pendant is crafted in Canada using Canadian gold which is mined and refined and manufactured in Canada," explains Richard Pierson, owner of JC Bradley.

"The pendant is fashioned in 14-karat rose and white gold and is a lucky wishbone, complimented by one round brilliant Canadian diamond. The wishbone is the symbol of good luck and best wishes to the wearer."

Castanet ran a month-long contest where participants entered into a draw for the prize package. 

More than 5,000 people entered, but it was Hiebert whose name was drawn.

"The necklace is for my wife, the restaurant gift certificates are mine, said Hiebert with a laugh.
