Cops think they know who did it, but need your help in nailing the suspect.
Another in a string of purse snatchings occurred in Vernon Tuesday morning when an elderly woman had a purse yanked from her arm in the 3000 block of 38th St.
The incident took place shortly before 9 am.
The victim sustained minor injuries and was unable to describe her assailant.
Her purse was located a shortly distance away in front of an apartment building in the 3300 block of 35th Ave.
Vernon police have a suspect in mind and are appealing for your help.
The suspect was carrying a light beige, woven purse from the point of the attack to where it was located a few blocks away.
RCMP in Vernon are urging female seniors to be cautious and to consider leaving their purses at home.
