Throw on your cowboy hat

Now is your chance to throw on your cowboy boots and hat, all for a great cause.

The annual Country Cowboy Dance & Camping Fundraiser takes place this Saturday in Lumby.

Darline Wolney at Timber Ridge Trails is raising money for the Alzheimer's Society and this year she has local country artist Lee Dinwoodie hitting the stage.

Tickets are $25 and include a smokie on a bun.  

Camping is available for $10 per person with all of the proceeds going to the Alzheimers Society.  

The event starts at 8 p.m. on July 7.
