Salmon Arm RCMP are seeking assistance from the public in locating a male reported missing by his family.
Vernon George McLENNAN, 77 years old, departed from his residence in the Notch Hill area on July 18th, 2006, advising his wife he was going camping.
His family has not heard from him since that date. He appears to have taken his grey 2005 Toyota Echo, licence plate 107 APG.
If anyone has any information that may be useful to police in locating McLENNAN, they are encouraged to contact the Salmon Arm RCMP Detachment at (250) 832-6044.
Update: Vernon McLENNAN attended to the Princeton Det. at approx. 1730 hrs. and provided ID to Cst. LEIDING upon hearing his name on the radio. He is no longer missing.
