A stubborn grass fire kept Kelowna fire crews on their toes yesterday.
Some grass, trees and a fence were scorched when a grass fire broke out on Beaver Lake Road. Even though the blaze was small, it garnered lots of attention as it fell right on the jurisdictional border between Lake Country and Kelowna – so both crews were called out. They were back again last night a couple times, dealing with hot spots.
