Vernon victim mourned

An obituary has been posted online for the victim of a sudden death in Vernon.

In the obituary, it is stated that Heather Marie Barker was loved and will be missed by many people, especially her family.

It is stated she raised caring, thoughtful and warm-hearted daughters.  

"It is through her children that we will remember all the good that Heather had to offer throughout her time on earth."

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Intensive Care Unit. 

A celebration of Barker’s life will be scheduled for a later date.

Police are still investigating the circumstances that led to Barker's death.
