So popular it's back

Angst hit the Vernon Towne Cinema big screen at the end of February and it was so well received a local businesswoman is bringing it back to town, one last time.

The 56-minute film and virtual reality experience explores anxiety, its causes, effects and what people suffering from anxiety can do for help.

The documentary was so successful, 25 to 30 people were turned away at the door because there weren't any seats left.

"I think the content is so relevant to people right now with everything that's going on in the world," said Lisa Gallie, owner of Big Sun Beachwear and Tanning. "Anything to do with youth or anxiety and helping kids to identify what they're feeling but also how to get themselves out of troublesome areas is so important."

Weeks ago, Gallie had hoped that the film would eventually make its way into schools and it seems that's already in the process.

"50 tickets were purchased by a local principal," Gallie said. "She purchased them for the entire faculty."

"All the teachers and their families are all coming to Angst from that one school."

Gallie says if you plan on coming to the film next Thursday in Vernon, it's absolutely necessary to purchase tickets in advance.

"There were many people that were so disappointed that they didn't get in," she said.

Tickets are available online or at Big Sun Beachwear and Tanning.

The film will hit the screen at the Vernon Towne Cinema, March 15 at 7 p.m.
