The Interior Provincial Exhibition has once again surpassed the expectation of the Board of Directors and Volunteers who have brought the Fair to the North Okanagan for what is now 107 years.
Total attendance for this year's Fair just broke through the 130,000 mark, surpassing the previous record set in 2005 of 114,000.
Mark Dibblee, General Manager of the Fair, gives all the credit to the Board, the Volunteers and the tireless office and grounds staff for making this happen. “I continue to be left in awe at the team work, limitless hours and effort, as well as commitment by each of them. While some of the workers are paid staff, the hours they put in over the course of the Fair are staggering, and never a complaint We are already looking at ways to improve upon this year for our 108 th Fair in 2007”.
