Crews will be tearing down a part of Vernon's history Tuesday.
The old grandstand at Polson Park went up in flames early Tuesday morning. It was built almost 100 years ago.
The cause of the fire is being treated as suspicious. Officials are investigating reports that two girls with a gas can were seen in the area prior to the fire.
Heavy equipment is being brought in to tear down what remains of the grandstand.
Polson Park is closed for the day.
