Salmon Arm Murder Arrest

RCMP have made an arrest in the 2005 murder of Salmon Arm resident Diane Evelyn Ellison.

Ellison, 39, was discovered dead in her home in the 100 block of Shuswap Avenue Southwest August 15 of 2005.

An unidentified 36 year-old Salmon Arm man has been charged with first degree murder.

The man is known to police.

He will appear in court Tuesday morning.

Police won't comment further until Tuesday afternoon.
