Another name will officially be on the ballot for the May 9 provincial election.
It took him several months, but Don Jefcoat has collected enough names to represent the BC Libertarian Party.
Jefcoat brings to four the number of people who are challenging incumbent Liberal MLA Eric Foster for the Vernon-Monashee riding.
Barry Dorval will carry the NDP banner into the election, Keli Westgate will run for the Green Party while Nels Harrington will represent the BC Conservative banner.
“We need a person who is not forced to tow party lines,” said Jefcoat. “We need to bring government to accountability. We have many issues to cover.”
