Armed officer at bus station

Vernon RCMP officers responded to a complaint of a possible weapon seen in the area of the Greyhound bus station early Wednesday afternoon.

"No one was injured or threatened," said Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy, RCMP spokesperson.

At least four RCMP vehicles were at the station or travelling around the area searching for a possible suspect.

One officer was seen putting away a rifle.
