Vernon: Town Hall Meeting

The Vernon Detachment would like to remind residents of Vernon about the Town Hall meeting set for Thursday night at the Schubert Center. Everyone is invited to attend and learn about the Crime Reduction Strategy and ask questions of the police and elected officials.

Vernon/North Okanagan Detachment of the RCMP wish to announce an open public Town Hall Meeting to be held at the Schubert Center on May 11th 2006 from 7:00-10:00 PM on the Crime Reduction Strategy. This is a new and effective way of doing police work in our community and the RCMP want to take this opportunity to hold an information session to explain the strategy and answer questions concerning it.

The Crime Reduction Strategy has received support from all the elected councils in this area.
