Goodbye sun, hello rain

Enjoy the sunshine while you can.

The Okanagan has been bathed in fall sun for days, but according to Environment Canada that is about to change.

Weather prognosticators are calling for nothing but clouds and rain for the next week.

Starting Thursday, grey skies take over the region with showers through Friday. The weekend is not looking much better with a 30-60 per cent chance of rain Saturday, Sunday and throughout the rest of the week.

For those heading to the hills, winter tires might be a thought as the snow level will be between 1,400-1,700 metres.

Snow has already caused havoc on the Coquihalla Connector and area ski hills are reporting dustings of the white stuff.
