Don't have the T-shirt

Lumby residents still have that feeling of elation following last week's Hockeyville weekend that saw the Stanley Cup in the village followed by a pre-season NHL game at Kal Tire Place in Vernon.

Both events marked Lumby's national title as the Kraft Hockeyville community of 2016.

But not everyone has the T-shirt, as the old saying goes, according to Angie Clowry, of the local Hockeyville organizing committee.

“As the commemorative T-shirts sold out during the (NHL teams') practice, another order is going in for hats and T-shirts,” Clowry said. “Hockeyville fans are to preorder and prepay, with cash only, at The Snac Shac convenience store in Lumby.”

The shirts come in adult and children's sizes and must be ordered by Saturday, Oct. 15.
