Manslaughter trial next year

Almost four years after her death, the man accused of killing Jillian McKinty is going to trial.

Logan Scott is facing a manslaughter charge in the death of the Armstrong woman in 2013.

McKinty's body was found in her home at Wolfenden Terrace in Armstrong on Nov. 27, 2013.

The mother of two was 27 when she died.

At the time, authorities said the circumstances surrounding her death were suspicious. Scott was arrested nine months later, after what police called an exhaustive investigation.

Scott's Supreme Court trial is schedule to begin on March 27, 2017.
