Some of the youngest cadets at the Vernon Cadet Training Centre were on parade Friday during a graduation ceremony at Sicily Square.
Lt.-Col. Normand Dionne, commanding officer of the Rocky Mountain Rangers, inspected the 177 cadets from Charlie Company.
The youngest cadets, usually 12-13 years old, enroll in a two-week general training course.
They take part in an overnight field training exercise, learn marksmanship skills with the air rifle, compete in a summer biathlon and challenge the mini-confidence course.
