A man and 20-month-old child were checked by BC Ambulance Service following a rollover accident Sunday near Vernon.
The single-vehicle accident happened just south of Bailey Road on Highway 97 heading toward Lake Country.
Vernon Fire Rescue Cpt. Trevor Keenan said both man and child were out of the car when emergency crews arrived.
The accident happened at around 3:15 p.m. on a section of road that had experienced an isolated rain shower. Traffic was slowed, but one southbound lane remained open while crews attended the scene.
There is no word on the cause of the accident or if possible charges are pending.
