Toddler injured in crash

A toddler, who suffered life-threatening injuries in a car crash in Armstrong last Saturday, is now in stable condition.

The crash occurred at 1:20 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 97A and Harding Road.

A woman driving a Toyota Corolla, with the toddler inside, made a left-hand turn onto the highway and was hit by an oncoming Ford Explorer.

The woman driving the Explorer, and the two children inside, were taken to Vernon Jubilee Hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.

The RCMP are continuing to investigate the collision. No charges have been laid at this time.
