Children from throughout the region will be putting their athletic prowess to the test during the Paradigm Naturopathic Medicine Kids of Steel Triathlon this Saturday.
The event starts at Kin Beach with a swim of varying lengths depending on the age of the athletes, who range age six and up
The competitors will then ride and run along Lakeshore and Tronson roads.
To accommodate the event, Tronson Road from Scott Road to Bella Vista Road, and Lakeshore Road from Cummins Road to Tronson Road will be closed to traffic from 8 a.m. to noon.
Local access will be available for residents.
Traffic control will be in place during the event and people are encouraged to choose alternate routes of travel during the event.
