Car flees scene of crash

Emergency services attended the scene of a two-vehicle crash at 48th Avenue and Anderson Way in Vernon about 12:30 p.m.

A man in a white Dodge pickup suffered minor injuries and was being cared for by ambulance paramedics, said Capt. Dan Walker of Vernon Fire Rescue.

Walker said the other vehicle, believed to be a Chevrolet Cobalt, fled the scene.

The Cobalt left behind a large section of its bumper, complete with licence plate.
