The 24-year-old male victim of a brutal assault in Vernon is expected to recover from his life-threatening injuries.
The unidentified man was found by passersby on the corner of 25th Avenue and 41st Street just after 10 p.m. June 6 with numerous stab wounds. He was rushed to Vernon Jubilee Hospital by BC Ambulance Services.
Vernon/North Okanagan RCMP are still actively investigating the assault and are asking anyone with information to contact RCMP at 250-545-7171, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
