A Hollywood movie shot in the North Okanagan is getting a shot at theatre audiences.
'Blackway', starring Anthony Hopkins, Ray Liotta and Julia Stiles, opens at the Vernon Towne Cinema at 7 p.m. tonight.
The thriller was produced by Enderby Entertainment, which held its premiere at the Starlight Drive-in in Enderby. A gala party was held afterwards.
Los Angeles-based producer Rick Dugdale, who comes from Enderby, is urging people to go and see it. He is hoping some word of mouth will boost audiences.
The film is opening today to viewing audiences in Canada and the U.S.
