Creative Chaos will be a little more chaotic this year due to ongoing renovations at the Vernon Recreation Centre.
The popular event involves hundreds of artisans displaying their wares, June 3-5.
Phase 2 of a renovation project at the recreation centre involves the back hallway and west entrance doors and work will be ongoing during the event, says city staff.
Members of the public will be able to access the facility on the west side through other entrances into the Dogwood Gym and the Auditorium.
The public can also access vendor booths, the food court and the children’s interactive craft area through the newly renovated front entrance and lobby.
“While all of the renovation work will not be completed prior to this year’s Creative Chaos, we will be displaying some additional signage and attendees will be able to find their way to all of the fantastic vendors during the event,” says Doug Ross, director of recreation services.
