Crash closes 43rd Ave

Emergency responders in Vernon closed off 43rd Avenue by 20th street during the noon-hour Tuesday following a two-vehicle accident.

Vernon fire Capt. Reinhard Mann said the driver of black car heading eastbound on 43rd was taken to hospital for observation after sustaining minor injuries in the collision.

Mann said the driver's vehicle was hit by another car that had pulled out from a stop sign.
