BMW crunches into truck

One person was taken to Vernon Jubilee Hospital with minor injuries following a two-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon.

The accident happened at around 2:45 p.m. when a black BMW car rear-ended a full-size pick-up truck on 27th Street near the intersection with Highway 6.

While there was minimal damage to the rear bumper of the truck, the Beemer had substantial damage to the front grill, hood and bumper.

The road remained open, but traffic was slowed as emergency crews attended the scene.

There is no word if any charges will be filed in relation to the accident.
