Looking for suspects

Pavin Sidhu is hoping surveillance video of a pair of suspected thieves will nab whoever broke into his family's business.

At around 4 a.m. April 11, Sidhu said someone smashed through the front door of the Kal's Naan Shop, 3603 32 St., and stole a Vaio laptop and “our whole cash register.”

Sidhu said it looked like they tried to smash open the cash register before taking off with it.

Surveillance video from the neighbouring Super Save Gas station shows two people in the area at the same time as the break and enter happened.

Sidhu said he has a longer video than the one posted showing the suspects heading toward Kal's moments before the break in.

The eatery, which opened in October, 2015, is in the process of installing an upgraded alarm system.

When the break in was discovered, police were called and Sidhu said RCMP told him there have been five break ins in that area.

Anyone with information on the break in or suspects is urged to call the RCMP.
