A group of military cadets had their sights set on national glory over the weekend.
Cadets from as far apart as Victoria and Ft. St. John gathered at the Vernon Cadet Training Centre after competing in local and area competitions.
Thirteen teams of five cadet marksmen and their coaches from across B.C., along with 10 individual cadets, were in Vernon gunning for the Cadet Provincial Marksmanship competition.
The range team of 907 Black Knight Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron from South Surrey won the provincials and will represent B.C. at the national championships in Gimli, Man. next month.
