The City of Vernon advises that crews continue work along 28th and 29th avenues as part of the 30th Street upgrade project.
Work began March 15 and is expected to continue until May 6.
Roadworks include reconstruction of failing sewer, storm and water pipes and renewal of services to property lines.
Additional works include new curb, gutter, sidewalk, road, streetlights and landscaping along the 29th Avenue section.
During reconstruction, single-lane alternating traffic and road closure will be in effect. The city asks that drivers and pedestrians obey all signs and flaggers.
