There is still time to make this Christmas a merry one for a Vernon family.
The application deadline to sponsor a family through the Salvation Army is Dec.11.
More than 50 business and groups sponsored families last year.
“We have a number of families still looking to be sponsored this year and the Salvation Army would like to encourage individuals and business interested in sponsoring a family to visit our website for more details and to download an application form,” said Cpt. Jean-Curtis Plante.
