JCI Vernon is getting ready to host the 6th annual Alternative Gift Fair on Saturday, Nov. 28.
It offers shoppers an easy way to buy gifts of charitable donations and to support their favourite causes.
Each participating group offers a variety of 'gifts of help'.
Over the past two years, JCI Vernon has raised more than $10,000 for local, not-for-profit organizations.
Some of the groups that will be present include Junction Literacy, Clean Water for Haiti, Community Dental Access Centre, Kindale Developmental Association, Vernon Women's Transition House Society and many more.
The event takes place at the Fairfield Inn & Suites on Anderson Way from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
