The North Okanagan Shuswap's rookie MP-elect, Mel Arnold, is on his way to Parliament Hill.
“On my way to Ottawa for orientation,” tweeted Arnold, Wednesday. “Soon the work begins.”
Unfortunately for Arnold, that work will be on the opposition side of the House of Commons, after the Conservatives lost the Oct. 19 federal election to Justin Trudeau's Liberals.
Former Tory MP Colin Mayes has said Arnold will have a steep learning curve as he manoeuvres the halls of power in Ottawa.
