The sun shone down on Vernon today, which was fitting for the 21st annual Sunshine Festival.
The North Okanagan’s largest sidewalk sale and street festival was held on 30th Avenue, from 29th to 34th street. There were street vendors, bouncy castles and face painting to keep the kids busy and live entertainment from Paperboy, Jodi Pederson and The Goods.
The City of Vernon made all street parking and parkade parking free today to encourage attendance.
