Motorists might want to avoid the area between 5601 Anderson Way (Red Robin Gourmet Burgers) and 27 Street.
The section of road will be closed in both directions to all traffic from from 7:30 a.m. today to 4 p.m. Wednesday for construction.
Transit users can use alternate stops located at the Village Green Mall Food Court or 5721 24 Street (Taco Del Mar).
Anderson Way will still be accessible from the south end on 48th Avenue. Drivers are advised to plan alternate travel routes and obey all detour signs.
