A pair of Kelowna men are appearing in court Monday after being caught stealing gas near Vernon.
At about 7:45 p.m. on Dec. 27, Vernon North Okanagan Rural RCMP were called to the Spallumcheen Golf & Country Club.
Alarms were going off at the outdoor gas tanks where someone had stolen gas from in the past.
Officers attended and arrested two men; One in the immediate area and the second one a short distance away, near a parked vehicle.
A 38-year-old and a 48-year-old from Kelowna have both been released by a justice of the peace to appear in court on Monday.
It was not immediately known if they were the same people who had stolen gas in the past.
