This family brought in much needed donations of laundry soap, dish soap, bleach and toilet paper to the Vernon SPCA this September.
Donations are down at the Vernon & District SPCA Branch, and the staff are hoping you can help.
“Being a non-profit organization, we really depend on the public’s generosity,” says branch manager Chelsea Taylor. “Every little bit helps the animals in need in our care.”
The Vernon SPCA is most in need of:
- Clumping cat litter
- Bleach
- Laundry detergent
- Dish detergent
- Black garbage bags
- Dog chews (toys or treats)
- Canned food (dog, puppy, cat and kitten)
- Cat toys
- Cat treats
People can also make monetary donations to help the Vernon SPCA.
“We really appreciate anything people are able to give,” Taylor says.
Donations can be made in person during open hours, from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, or online at spca.bc.ca/vernon.
