What is 115 years old?

The 115th Interior Provincial Exhibition & Stampede is just around the corner and Armstrong is gearing up for another fun-filled event.

The annual fair, that attracts upwards of 150,000 people a year, is an Okanagan tradition that delights the young and old alike.

“We are just under a week away and it is going crazy,” shares an excited Burns. “There is lots of action going on, tents are going up, vendors are coming in, we are getting all of our things in place so there is lots of action right now.”

Burns says the fair offers everything from agricultural displays to chuck wagon races to lumberjack competitions and rides.

“It is one of those family traditions and there is so much to see and do,” says Burns. “We've got agricultural stuff to rodeo to the 220 vendors. There are so many amazing things to do, it is great value for your money,” says Burns.

The fair runs from Wednesday to Sunday, August 27 to August 31. Burns says the busiest day of the fair is Saturday which can see upwards of 50,000 people on that day alone. Saturday is the most popular as the day kicks off with a parade that features over 110 entries.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate and you can get all the details on pricing here.
