An older female crashed her car into a 7-11 in Vernon on Wednesday. No one was hurt in the accident.
There has been yet another case of a vehicle unable to stop and crashing into a building. This time it happened at a 7-11 convenience store in Vernon.
Doug Imrich of the Vernon Fire Department says there were a few people in the store at the time of the crash, but no one was injured.
“There was a cashier and two customers in the store,” says Imrich.
“The driver wasn’t hurt. It’s just an unfortunate accident; (they) probably hit the gas instead of the brake.”
He says the driver of the car was an older female.
The accident happened just after 6 a.m. at the 7-11 on 27th Street.
