A Vernon man facing charges related to child pornography has pleaded guilty, but only to two of the 19 counts he is facing.
David Willerth, 39, was arrested in July of this year after his name surfaced in an investigation conducted by the Vernon RCMP, in conjunction with the provinces Integrated Child Exploitation unit.
He has been charged with offences ranging from possession of child pornography to invitation to sexual touching, and has been in custody since his arrest.
Willerth’s next court appearance will be Jan. 22, 2014 to fix a date for sentencing on his guilty pleas.
Crown counsel says the other 17 charges are still outstanding.
