Police are looking for this man in connection with the theft of two donation boxes from the Lakeview Market
Vernon RCMP are looking for a thief who made off with two donation tins after he failed to open a cash register at Lakeview Market.
The man entered the market at the corner of 15th St. and 32nd Avenue at 5:30 p.m. on Friday with a camouflage hat, a white t-shirt covering his face, and yellow gloves on his hands.
Finding the clerk away from the till he tried to open it himself. When that didn't work he grabbed two donation cannisters and fled on a bicycle.
It's not known how much money was in the cannisters.
The man is described as Caucasian, about 35, and 5' 5" tall.
