A three-day trial for an American cross-country ski coach accused of voyeurism and making child porn, stemming from a hidden camera, has been delayed for unknown reasons.
According to the Vernon Court House the trial was cancelled on June 30 and the lawyers are expected back in front of a Judicial Case Manager July 30, 2014 to set a new trial date.
43-year-old Jason Paur, from a private school in Seattle was arrested after a video camera was discovered in the room of female students at Silver Star ski resort, he is facing 10 charges.
In February 2014 Paur pled not guilty to all 10-charges and was ordered to stand trial.
He has been in custody since December 2013 and was denied bail because he is considered a flight risk.
Charges against Paur include break and enter and making or publishing child pornography.
Paur was at Silver Star Ski Resort on Dec 10, 2013 on a ski trip with students from The Bush School, a private Seattle school for ages K-12 when he was arrested.
