Scooter driver hit by car
The driver of a scooter was hit by a car with enough force to separate the seat from the scooter in Vernon Sunday afternoon.
Around 3:45 p.m. emergency crews responded to 39th Avenue near Pleasant Valley Road where a 59-year-old woman had been hit by a car.
She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
