More suspicious fires
Fire crews were called to two more suspicious fires early Thursday morning.
At about 2:40 the Vernon Fire Dept. was called to a small fire in the back alley behind the 3200 block of 31st Ave.
The fire appeared to be in some trash.
A short time later at about 3:50 RCMP officers were patrolling in the downtown core and noticed another small fire in trash at 30th Ave and 35th St. The flames were extinguished by the officer who discovered it.
