Crash victim identified
The BC Coroners Service has identified a man killed in a single vehicle crash near Lumby Sunday.
Denji Andries Kuraoka, 25, of Lumby was the driver of a pickup truck which rolled on Whitevale Road, a gravel road near Lumby.
The crash occurred about 2:20 a.m.
The coroners office confirmed the victim died at the scene.
Vernon RCMP Cpl. Gerry Kovacs, says Kuraoka was ejected from the vehicle while his 23-year-old brother, a passenger, escaped the wreckage and performed CPR.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
