Tabby Terry needs your help

Terry the tabby needs your help.

The two-year-old stray cat was discovered by the Vernon SPCA in poor condition and now the shelter is putting the call out to the public for assistance.

Terry requires an expense surgery to repair his injured femur. A surgery he needs to find a brighter future and a forever home.

Chelsea Taylor the manager at the branch says staff don't how how he was injured, but assumes it was traumatic, such as a car accident.

“He’s such a sweetie, and very vocal. He likes to talk to everybody. When you try to leave, he grabs onto your foot. He’s very affectionate,” she says.

His total medical care is estimated around the $1000 mark.

“We just want him to be able to be active and pain-free. He’s got nine lives to live and such a great personality,” Taylor says.

The hope is once Terry is out of surgery and recovered, he will be available for adoption.

If you can help Terry and other animals like him in need of care at the Vernon SPCA, you can donate online or in person at 4800 Haney.
