Discovery of antique dolls
Some collector-looking dolls are trying to find their way back home after RCMP discovered them inside a stolen vehicle.
Back in February, RCMP were called to investigate a report of a single vehicle accident near Highridge Road in Vernon.
The officers determined the license plate on the truck had been reported stolen out of Lake Country.
“In the truck were some items that the investigators feel did not belong to this person and they are six dolls,” explained RCMP spokesman Gord Molendyk
“They are in older boxes. They appear to be from various countries of the world and are older, collector type dolls.”
Police believe the dolls were stolen from someone in the North Okanagan and would like to have them returned to the rightful owners.
If these are your dolls and you can give a full description of their attire to show proof of ownership call the North Okanagan RCMP at 250-545-7171.
