Two dead in crash
Update-- 11:15 a.m.
Vernon RCMP say the crash involved a SUV that was heading Southbound. It collided with a motorcycle that was northbound on Westside Rd.
The two people on the bike died at the scene. Both are from the North Okanagan.
RCMP spokesman, Gord Molendyk, says early investigation indicate the SUV was travelling in the motorcycle's lane at the time of the crash.
The police and coroners service are continuing to investigate the incident.
Two people are dead after a serious crash on Westside Road Sunday night.
Early reports indicate the collision involved a motorcycle and a car, near the intersection with Mary’s Emerald Bay Road.
The road was closed for several hours and traffic was diverted through Kelowna.
